Members of Desert Springs have been invited to enter a team in the X Día del Interclub Tournament to be held at La Cala Golf Resort on Sunday 31st May 2009.
Teams of 8 players will compete in a Team Fourball Better Ball Tournament, with the 4 scores counting towards the team total. The event is by invitation only and is limited to 15 clubs on the Costa del Sol and Andalucía. The competition is open to male and female golfers with a current handicap. Handicap certificates must be produced.
The entry fee for the event is 35€ per person to include green fee, buggy, and a meal and wine. La Cala has also offered a special rate at their 5 star hotel. Accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis is available at a charge of 99€ (maximum occupancy 2 people).

Please note that members who have entered the event last year have preference in securing their spot on the team. The remaining places will be given on a first come first served basis.
As defending champions, I would like to encourage all members to join us on this fun trip and prove once again that we are the strongest team in Andalucía!!!
