Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club will host the inaugural ‘Lifestyle Insurance Trophy’ in aid of PAWS (Peoples Animal Welfare Society In Spain) on Saturday 4th October 2008.
Since 1990 the aim of PAWS was to provide shelter, care and compassion to abandoned or lost animals. PAWS depends wholly on charitable donations to achieve its aim.
PAWS organised events are one of the main sources of fund raising to maintain the animals at their center with all of the proceeds raised going directly to help those abandoned & unwanted dogs and cats in the area to ideally assist them in finding a good home for animals that just want one more chance…
The tournament will be an 18-hole individual stableford competition and is open to any golfer. The handicap requirements are 24 for Men, 36 for Ladies and 28 for Juniors. Every player will receive their full handicap allowance plus the slope rating of the Indiana Course.
The price for entry is 15€ for Members and 55€ for Non-Members, which includes a personal donation from each player of 10€ to PAWS and a selection of typical Andalusian tapas prepared by our very own Executive Chef, Steven Pegg accompanied with a glass of wine for each competitor after play.
The prize presentation will take place at the Clubhouse after all players have completed their round.
