Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket, based at Headingley, Leeds, is the official coaching provider for Yorkshire County Cricket Club, responsible for organising and delivering cricket coaching courses throughout Yorkshire for children and adults, both beginners through to budding young professionals.

The Pro Coach Yorkshire team training camp will comprise eight (8) players and Two (2) coaches, all of whom will be spending their time completing numerous training sessions each day, which will include grass net practice, both bowling and batting, strength work, running, speed and agility work.

Speaking of their inaugural visit back in April 2015, Mark Lawson, Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Academy Coach, commented:

“Desert Springs is the perfect setting for Pre-Season training for both first class and amateur teams. The training facilities are as good as any about and we can’t wait to come back!”

Andy Laws, Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Academy Coach, remarked:

“As a consequence of the short flight from the UK making logistics simple, coupled with the first class cricket training facilities and staff that are incredibly friendly, Desert Springs is ideal for Pre-Season training.”

Accommodation for the players and coaches is in some of the privately owned apartments at Desert Springs Resort normally reserved for holidays and short breaks and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in the resort’s award-winning El Torrente Restaurant.
