We announced in an earlier Golf News that the Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club had been selected to host the 2016 Spanish Senior Professionals Championship betweenWednesday 30th November & Friday 2nd December 2016.
To celebrate the hosting of this prestigious tournament, a ‘Pro-Am’ event has been scheduled to take place on the eve of the Championship, Tuesday 29th November, affording our members and property owners the opportunity to play with some of the best Senior Professionals in Spain over 18-hoes of tournament golf on the Indiana course.
The ‘Pro-Am’ package comprises: –
• 18-Hole competition with a Professional (Best Stableford Score to count)
• Tournament Gift Pack
• Use of academy practice balls at the Golf Academy prior to play
• Use of a shared buggy between two
• Attendance to a Buffet Lunch at El Torrente restaurant after play to be followed by Prize Presentation
Golf Operations Manager, Alfonso Castineira remarked;
“Various packages have been designed to cater for everyone. Specifically, the entrance fee for Desert Springs Members, Members Guests and Property Owners who are non-members is €60, €90 and €90 respectively.
Entrance forms are now available at the Clubhouse Reception.
Only fifteen (15) teams are available for the Pro-Am. Players may enter as a team of 3 or individually, however please be advised that team entries will have priority over individual entries.
In the knowledge that the date of the ‘Pro- Am’ is during a popular time for return visits to the resort by our owners and members and so as to avoid any disappointment, we would like to encourage you to send in your entrance form as soon as possible to guarantee your place in the ‘Pro-Am’!’
