Java Trading Company today announced its agreement to become joint Presenting Sponsor with talkSPORT Radio of this year’s Sir Ian Botham Charity Golf Classic at Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club between Thursday 30th October and Saturday 1st November.

Breakfast radio show presenter Alan Brazil will be broadcasting live from Desert Springs on Friday, October 31st and Monday, November 2nd from 6 am to 10 am. Current affairs presenter Jon Gaunt will be broadcasting live on Friday, October 31st from 10 am to 1 pm and talkSPORT golf correspondent Rupert Bell will be doing regular inserts and interviews across the weekend with talkSPORT.

The event programme includes one practice round and two competitive rounds of golf on the Championship Indiana Course. Participants will enjoy 2 nights luxury accommodation at The Lodge @ Desert Springs. The event culminates with a celebrity gala dinner and entertainment, including a chance to bid for ‘money can’t buy’ auction items. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Leukaemia Research.

Russell, Peter Baker, Steve Cram MBE, Dennis Taylor & Mick Fitzgerald, are just some of the keen celebrities and professional sportsmen who have confirmed their attendance to join, Sir Ian to help their amateur teams of 3 to compete for this year’s trophy.
