Bromsgrove, John Fisher and Alleyn’s Schools visit Desert Springs for pre-season camps

 

The school cricket teams from Bromsgrove, Alleyn’s and John Fisher Schools are due to take part in pre-season training camps during the Easter school holidays held at Desert Springs Resort. The three schools will be visiting Desert Springs Resort between Tuesday 15th and Sunday 20th April.

The schools will undertake numerous training sessions each day, which will include grass net practice, both bowling and batting and strength and conditioning, running, speed and agility work at the Cricket Academy.

The squads will also benefit from access to the Cricket Ground at Desert Springs, with internal match practice and friendly fixtures alongside specific practice sessions involving; throw downs, slip catch training and fielding exercises.

Resort accommodation for officials and players is provided in the apartments at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining at the cricket pavilion and The Crocodile Club.
