We are thrilled to announce that Desert Springs Resort has been invited and has proudly accepted a new three-year contract to host the DP World Tour’s 2nd Stage Qualifying School. After the inaugural hosting of the second stage qualifying school in 2017, it was testimony to the quality of the course and the team at Desert Springs Resort that we had been invited to host the event again for four additional years.
As our members and visitors well know, the Indiana Course offers a stimulating and strategic test of golf. It’s a true “thinking player’s” course—difficult to overpower and designed to challenge players with a variety of shot-making opportunities. Success on the Indiana Course requires not only skill but also exceptional course management, making it a fitting venue for players aspiring to compete on the DP World Tour.
Desert Springs Golf Club Director of Golf, Simon Coaker commented;
“Since our inaugural hosting of the 2nd Stage Qualifying School in 2017, our partnership with the DP World Tour has only grown stronger. It is an honor for Desert Springs Resort and the Indiana Course to play a role in the journey of Europe’s finest players as they pursue their professional dreams. This collaboration brings both prestige and significant benefits to everyone associated with the Resort.”
Mike Stewart, DP World Tour Qualifying School Director said;
“We are delighted to be returning to Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club for the Second Stage of the DP World Tour Qualifying School for a further 3 years. Desert Springs has proved to be a great host venue for Q’School where players have been warmly welcomed and are able to enjoy excellent facilities and a challenging golf course. It is exciting to see the resort continue to develop, and we look forward to being part of it.”
