England Pan-Disability squad to play series at Desert Springs

 

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Pan-Disability squad will visit Desert Springs Resort to prepare for the much-anticipated Pan-Disability Series against India.  The ECB Pan-Disability squad will be at Desert Springs Resort between Thursday 1st May and Monday 5th May 2025.  Joining the ECB pan-disability squad will be a cricket team representing the Army Air Corps (AAC) and Madrid United CC.

Both the ECB Pan-Disability Squad and the AAC Squad will undertake numerous training sessions each day, which will include grass net practice, both bowling and batting and strength and conditioning, running, speed and agility work at the Cricket Academy.

The match schedule is as follows: –

Saturday 3rd May

  • 30hrs ECB Pan-Disability XI v AAC XI
  • 30hrs AAC XI v Madrid United CC
  • 30hrs Madrid United CC v ECB Pan-Disability XI

Sunday 4th May

  • 30hrs ECB Pan-Disability XI v Madrid United CC
  • 30hrs AAC XI v Madrid United CC
  • 30hrs AAC XI v ECB Pan-Disability XI

Spectators are most welcome, and we are looking forward to some intense battles between the competing teams and some great entertainment on our superb cricket ground for you to enjoy.

Resort accommodation for officials and players is provided in the apartments & townhouses at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining at the cricket pavilion and The Crocodile Club.
