We went with an 18-month-old baby, and he did not stop playing and walking around the lake with the animals.

A bit complicated to get there, because the navigator leaves you at the beginning of a road that enters the urbanization.
You must follow that road for several kilometers until you reach the restaurant.

This clubhouse restaurant is a real find.
We have been visiting Desert Springs Golf Resort, Almeria since 2015 and it is only in the last two years we have discovered this excellent clubhouse which is attached to the golf course.
You do not need to be a golfer to enjoy what Desert Springs and El Torrente have to offer.
On our trip this year we enjoyed a Sunday lunch and then a breakfast here – the healthy breakfast which comprises: toasted soda bread, mashed avocado and poached egg with a side of fruit salad and natural yoghurt, plus juice and your choice of tea or coffee, went down particularly well with the whole family.
The food is very good quality, prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The whole resort is perfectly suited for us with self-catering apartments, townhouses and villas – we rented a villa with its own private pool and the 15th green at the end of the garden gave us a lovely view and the opportunity to pass my husband a cold beer over the fence as he came to the end of his round!
It really is the perfect place to relax and unwind – look forward to doing it all again next year.

An atypical place in the heart of Almeria, in the heart of the Desert Springs golf course.
The whole outdoor area with water and lots of nature.
Upon arrival, we were treated with champagne for Mother’s Day.
The food was normal size and especially good.
Throughout the meal there was very nice, live music and the ambiance invited you to stay longer.
A place to come back if you are a lover of gastronomy, a special atmosphere and nature.
Eaten here many times and never been disappointed.
