- Subject: Comments from Steve McGuinness, Organiser of 'Studley Wood Golf Club' overseas golf tournament, following their four day event at Desert Springs Resort between 04th - 08th November, 2014
Three PGA Golf Professionals from Studley Wood Golf Club, set in the tranquil Oxfordshire countryside, led by Steve McGuinness, selected Desert Springs Resort to be host to their overseas golf tournament and winter coaching school between 04th – 08th November 2014.
The professionals accompanied 19 of their club members ranging from 33 – 77 years of age for 4 days of golf, sun & fun!
The 22 players were accommodated in a selection of the resorts apartments overlooking the Indiana course to compete over three days tournament play, with plenty of time each day for the players to receive some professional coaching at the Academy of Golf.
PGA Professional Steve McGuinness commented of their time at the resort:
"Having been to several golf resorts around the world, we found Desert Springs a superb venue to take a group of 19 golfers on a coaching trip.
The facilities and the staff matched the course.
It has everything needed when taking a large group away.
We are already organising our next trip back to Desert Springs."
