The Golf Academy includes facilities and services which enables golfers of all standards from the beginner to touring professional, to improve their playing ability.

The Academy is a world-renowned centre of excellence for both teaching and learning the game of golf, providing practice facilities for Elite International, National and County squad members, PGA European Tour and LET members.

The Desert Springs Golf Academy offers specially designated practice areas that are specifically designed to offer every challenge of the game and include:

A 20 bay covered driving range with permanent astro turf mats

A grass practice area of 2000m2

Target greens

Fairway and green side bunkers

 Two Putting greens

Chipping green

 Two Huxley All Weather Practice Areas

• The GASP Studio – A separate facility which is equipped with the world's most advanced video teaching system that allows you to benefit from an instantaneous view of your swing.

PGA Professional Neil Evans is well known to many from his previous appointment as one of our Academy Professionals and brings his many years of experience and his relaxed teaching style to members and guests of the Club, offering individual lessons, covering all aspects of the game.

Neil has worked at many top courses throughout Europe including Pinheiros Altos on the Algarve and the Mizuno Training Academy in Germany, and prior to his move to Spain, was based at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club in the Midlands.

Name: Roy Kullick

A member of the PGA of Holland , Roy brings his relaxed teaching style to members and guests of the Club, offering individual lessons, covering all aspects of the game.

Prior to relocating to Spain, Roy provided clinics and ‘First Handicap’ courses in Golftotaal, Amsterdam, Purmerend and was responsible for junior classes at De Heemskerkse GC in the Netherlands and conducted classes through Amersfoort, Heiloo and Dirkshorn.

Roy works with his pupils with the ‘Flight Scope’ golf radar system, to identify what is going on with the club and the ball, replacing guess work with a measureable tool to help work on improving your golf.

Roy commented:

“I enjoy helping golfers of all levels. Through Bio Swing Dynamics training, I have learnt to look at each individual swing. Everybody is built differently, so naturally no two swings are exactly the same.”
