We wish to provide you with information pertaining to the events and celebrations organised for you to enjoy a memorable Christmas and welcome the New Year in at Desert Springs Resort with family and friends, and advise you of the opening hours of El Torrente restaurant during this period.

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th December
Santa will be in residence at Santa’s Grotto in the Cave Bar at Desert Springs this year.
He will be on hand to hear the children’s holiday wishes from 17.00hrs. – 21.00hrs.
Don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture your angels talking to the big man himself!
Mulled Wine and Mince Pies for sale at the bar for parents. Entrance to the Grotto only 5 Euros only per child including a gift from Santa
Friday 23rd December – Christmas Carols @ El Torrente Restaurant
Join local pianist Christine Adler who will be playing traditional Christmas music at the Clubhouse from 20.30hrs.
Traditional Christmas Canapés and Mulled Wine, Santa has also promised that he will have a drink with us!
Please take your seat from 20.00hrs. to avoid disappointment
Saturday 24th December, Christmas Eve
08.00hrs. – 21.00hrs. Open for normal service, last food orders 19.30hrs.
Mulled Wine and Mince Pies @ El Torrente Restaurant served from 18.00hrs. until 20.00hrs.
Sunday 25th December, Christmas Day
08.00hrs – 12.00hrs, open for bar service only
Traditional Christmas Lunch @ El Torrente Restaurant with live music from Jack Law from 17.00hrs
Doors open 13.30hrs. with open air welcome drinks reception with canapés. Tables strictly by reservation only. Non-attending Owners and their Guests wishing to join the celebrations are most welcome from 17.00hrs.
Thursday 29th December – Migas Time again! @ The Hacienda
Migas is a traditional local dish of lots of scrunchy bits of pork, soft garlic flavoured breadcrumbs, hot radishes & peppers, accompanied by red wine
Starting at 14.00hrs. at The Hacienda, out on the Golf Course, it is always lots of fun and is laid on courtesy of The Hitchins family & Desert Springs Resort.
Access is strictly by guest list only and is for Residents, Residents’ guests and invited friends of Desert Springs.

Saturday 31st December – New Year’s Eve
08.00hrs. – 16.00hrs. Open for normal service / 16.00hrs. – 20.00hrs. closed for preparations.
New Year’s Eve Dinner @ El Torrente Restaurant with live music from saxophonist and singer ‘Quincy Sax’ followed by a Disco to welcome the New Year in!
Doors open 20.30hrs. with open air welcome drinks reception with canapés
Last drinks orders 03.30hrs. Carriages 04.00hrs.
Tables strictly by reservation only.
Non-attending Owners and their Guests wishing to join the celebrations are most welcome from 23.30hrs.
Sunday 1st January – Rock & Roast Special New Year 2023 with Marilyn Shipley
Restaurant will open at 14.00hrs and music will start at 16.00hrs.
