Cambridgeshire Seniors Cricket & Veterans Cricket India compete in the Desert Springs European Masters

Cambridgeshire Seniors Cricket and Veterans Cricket India have now returned to the UK after completing a successful seven (7) days of both training and competitive cricket in the Desert Springs European Masters’ at Desert Springs Resort, Europe’s only international award-winning luxury family resort and championship desert golf course with its very own ICC accredited Cricket Ground, in the Almanzora region of Almeria, Andalucía in south-east Spain.

Both teams competed in T20 matches on Friday 8th and Sunday 10th October with various team practice sessions taking place throughout the week.

Accommodation for the players was in some of the privately-owned apartments at Desert Springs Resort normally reserved for holidays and short breaks and the resort’s executive chef was on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in the resort’s El Torrente Restaurant.
