After the long hot summer I look forward to welcoming all of you winter birds back to Desert Springs.
Herewith our busy golf October calendar 2011:
- The Constitution Cup, Saturday 8th October.
- The Desert Classic, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October, with Menu of the Day lunch included.
- Winter knock-out competition between 20th October 2011 until 31st March 2012.
- Autumn Trophy, Friday 21st of October.
Captain’s long Charity Weekend – 21st, 22nd, 23rd,24th,25th October:
- 21st of October – Friday: Roll-up in El Torrente Restaurant.
- 22nd of October – Saturday: Golf skills competition, pitching, chipping, putting and bunkers, evening fish and chips with a charity bingo.
- 23rd of October – Sunday: Captain Wikkie´s Texas Scramble Shoot Out. Teams of 2 pairs that play separately. The scores of both pairs are added together at the end. Caribbean evening with buffet at the Crocodile Club, Caribbean outfit required.
- 24th of October – Monday: Past Captain´s Team Challenge with Menu of the Day.
- 25th of October – Tuesday: Excursion to Cartagena from 09.00 a.m. until 17.00 p.m. including Lunch.
I hope we will all meet up again and have a wonderful time at Desert Springs.
