Desert Springs will be host to the inaugural ‘Desert Springs & Millfield European Schools Team Championships’ between Saturday 15th to Tuesday 18th February 2014.The Team
Championships is open to boys and girls of all ages with a maximum handicap of 24 and will be held over 3 days (54 Holes). The tournament format is 4 Ball-Better-Ball Stableford Points on day 1 & 2 with day 3 being Best Gross Score from each Team combined to achieve the Teams Stableford score.
Since 2009 Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club has been the official Spanish Home for the Millfield School Golf Academy.

It gives all those taking part an opportunity to make new friends and widens Schools golf.”

We are particularly proud of our relationship with Millfield School and it seemed a natural progression to introduce this event which will provide the opportunity for schools from within Europe to come together at one meeting point and compete against other schools in a friendly atmosphere, some of whom they would not normally compete against.”
The event package for the ‘Desert Springs & Millfield European Schools Team Championships’ costs £349 per player and comprises the following:
