Dear Owners and Members,
I hope this letter finds you well.
I am excited to confirm that my fiancé, Millie, and I will be celebrating our wedding at Desert Springs Resort on the weekend of Friday 11th October through to Monday 14th October 2024.
Desert Springs is an incredibly significant part of our lives, and we couldn’t imagine anywhere more special to celebrate the happiest day of our lives, especially in such a beautiful setting.
During the weekend there will unfortunately be disruption to the usual operation of the Resort, and we hope to provide you with early notice to try to avoid any inconvenience regarding future visits or plans made for that weekend.
To ensure our families and guests enjoy the true Desert Springs experience many of the weekend’s celebrations and activities are happening at the Resort, which is only possible thanks to the brilliant, hardworking team we have at Desert Springs.
With that in mind, please see confirmation of the implications this has on the Resort’s opening hours below:
El Torrente Restaurant & Crocodile Club Restaurant
- Monday 7th to Thursday 10th October 2024 inclusive – Operating as usual
- Friday 11th to Monday 14th October inclusive – Closed
- Tuesday 15th October inclusive and onwards – Operating as usual
Desert Springs Golf Club, Indiana Course & Academy
- Monday 7th to Thursday 10th October 2024 inclusive – Operating as usual
- Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October inclusive – Closed
- Monday 14th October – Closed until 13.00hrs, tee times from 13.00hrs reserved for Members
- Tuesday 15th October inclusive and onwards – Operating as usual
- During the period of closure reciprocal arrangements have been made with Valle del Este GC & Aguilón GC – details of which can be provided by the Resort Reception Team
Throughout the celebration we are planning to make the most of the unique venues Desert Springs offers, and therefore on the evenings of Friday 11th October at the Crocodile Club Restaurant and on Saturday 12th October at El Torrente Restaurant we would like to warn you that there is likely to be live music playing into the early hours.
Additionally, on Saturday 12th October there is likely to be a pyrotechnic display originating within the area beyond the existing overflow car park between 23.00hrs and 24.00hrs.
To those of you I have had the opportunity to mention our wedding plans to already, I thank you for your best wishes, kindness and understanding.
