The tournament enables all age groups, levels and standards of golfers to play together. School golf is the future of golf and this event provides opportunities to all. Desert Springs is a great resort with a great golf course that provides a challenge to all.”

The students coaches and school staff will be accommodated in some of the privately owned Apartments, Townhouses and Pueblo Villas normally reserved for holidays and short breaks at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in the Crocodile Club and El Torrente Restaurant.

Simon Coaker, Desert Springs Director of Golf, remarked:

“Desert Springs has become renowned for successfully hosting warm winter weather golf training for national and county union golf teams, as well as club and school teams, from throughout the UK and Europe. The inaugural competition in 2014 was what we saw as a natural progression, an event that provides the opportunity for schools from within Europe to come together at one meeting point and compete against other schools in a friendly atmosphere, some of whom they would not normally compete against. We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of the competitors to what we are confident is going to be another great tournament and a fun packed few days.”
