22nd DECEMBER – 24th DECEMBER: MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY
The Cave Bar: Santa will be in residence at Desert Springs this year! He will be on hand from 18.00h – 20.00h to hear the holiday wishes of children – the bar will be stocked up with drinks and mince pies for parents and entrance per child to the Grotto only costs 5 Euros (a donation to charity will be made from the proceeds). Don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture your angels talking to the big man himself!
23rd DECEMBER: TUESDAY
The New Life Duo will sing traditional Christmas Carols and other popular Christmas music at the Clubhouse from 7pm; El Torrente will be open for a special “Spanish Christmas Raciones” menu offering the most traditional Spanish cuisine. The Crocodile Club opens at 18.00h with Normal Winter Service.
24TH DECEMBER, CHRISTMAS EVE: WEDNESDAY
El Torrente: Mulled Wine & Mince Pies, courtesy of Desert Springs, served from 18.00h. Open for drinks until 22.00h.
Croc Club: Normal Menu – opens at 18.00h and closes at 23.00h. Last food orders: 22.00h and last drinks orders at 22.30h

El Torrente: Traditional Christmas Fayre Lunch (served from 14.00h to 17.00h). El Torrente closes at 18.00h. Please see attached menu.

26th DECEMBER, BOXING DAY: A day for us all to recover! All Restaurants on regular winter schedule (see below).
29TH DECEMBER, MIGAS DAY: MONDAY
The Hacienda: Migas Time again! As most of our Residents know, Migas are a traditional local dish of lots of scrunchy bits of pork, soft garlic flavoured breadcrumbs, hot radishes & peppers, accompanied by goatskins of red wine – prepared in the Hacienda building out on the Golf Course for owners, staff & locals, courtesy of Stephen Hitchins & Desert Springs. It is always fun and an enormous success. Begins at 14.00h at The Hacienda Building. Please request your invitation from Kristina. Access is by invitation only and is for Residents & Residents’ guests and invited friends of Desert Springs – so PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR INVITATIONS WITH YOU.
30TH DECEMBER: THE EVE OF NEW YEAR’S EVE KIDS CLUB BASH: TUESDAY
El Chiringuito: A kids party will take place, complete with games and kids disco, from 14.00h – 17.00h at El Chiringuito. All kids 12 yrs. and under are welcome and admission is free.
31ST DECEMBER, NEW YEAR’S EVE: WEDNESDAY
El Torrente: Open for normal service 07.15h – 16.00h. Opens from 20.00h until 01.00h, Live Jazz, Blues, Swing and Pop Music. A la Carte Menu attached. There will be a designated Kids Area (for 6- 12 yrs) with a special buffet and monitored so that both kids and adults can enjoy their fine dining experience at the same time!-Last drink orders at 12.30h. Guests wanting to carry on with the festivities at the Croc Club Disco are most welcome.
Croc Club: Disco & Cash Bar: open from 22.00h until 04.00h – last drinks will be served at 03.30h. Please note that this year, food service will only be available at El Torrente. Complimentary finger food will be placed around the Croc Club and entrance is free.
