We wish to inform you that with immediate effect, Martin Bannstrom has been appointed Golf Operations Manager at Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club.
Martin, a Swedish National who is fluent in both English and Spanish joins Desert Springs from Arcos Gardens Golf Club & Country Estate, Cadiz, Spain, where since 2005 he has held the position of Assistant Director of Golf. During that time, Martin has played a pivotal role in the development of the golf course service.
Martin holds a BA (Hons) in Golf Management from the University of the Highlands & Islands and graduated from the Professional Golfers Association with a Foundation Degree Programme.
At Desert Springs Martin will be responsible for continuing to provide the smooth & efficient running of the golf course, caddy master, golf academy & practice facilities, golf reception & retail outlets, members relations and ensuring that the highest standards of product and service are provided to Desert Springs owners, members and visitors alike.
In addition, Martin will be working alongside the Club’s management to further develop and strengthen its growing golf business.
Martin’s office is located at the Golf Administration office within the Clubhouse and we are confident that you will join us in wishing him the best in his new role at Desert Springs.
