As previously advised, La Herrería in Madrid has invited us for a reciprocal fixture on the 31st July, 1st and 2nd August. This is a match we are anxious to maintain and as those of you who have played in Madrid before know that it is well worth the trip.
A number of people have already confirmed their availability but if you would like to play in this year’s team please contact your Captain, Barry Carver and let him know as soon as possible.
There is no restriction on numbers as La Herrería has said that they will match the number of players we have in our team but we do need a minimum of 8.
Again, La Herrería has kindly searched for a hotel for us to stay near the golf course. The selected hotel is the NH Victoria****, which is the same hotel as we stayed in during our last visit. The price for the double room is 109€ (breakfast included) or 98€ per room for single occupancy.
I believe a number of people will be traveling from Desert Springs so please let Barry Carver know as soon as possible and it may be possible to arrange transport sharing etc.
