Bjorn Isberg, Swedish Golf Association Coach remarked;

“This was our second visit to Desert Springs Resort, the golfing experience is sensational, we are looked after so well!

The villas are beautiful to stay in and the climate is just perfect for our winter training camp.

Looking forward to seeing you all again next year, many thanks!”

Below are just some of the comments received and views from the players in attendance of the training camp;

“Desert Springs just gets better and better, I can’t wait to return next year!” Tomas Engstrom

“The Indiana is a great golf course, so challenging which is just what I like!” Johny Sandberg

“Beautiful weather for a great week of golf, thank you to all of the staff, I’ll be back next year for sure!” Peter Ingvarsson

“During last years visit to Desert Springs I got a ‘Hole-In-One’ on the second hole, no repeat of that this year but still a fantastic golfing experience!” Matts Dornell

The training camp utilised the excellent practice facilities at the Desert Springs Golf Academy where the PGA Instructors were able provide one-to-one tuition and take advantage of the use of the Desert Springs short game academy prior to the team members embarking on their rounds on The Indiana course.

The team members and officials were accommodated in some of the privately owned villas normally reserved for holidays and short breaks at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef was on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining each day in the ‘El Torrente’ Restaurant.
